We recommend pet insurance for all our patients.

All our patients receive the care and attention they deserve. However, we also need to take your financial concerns seriously when we are deciding on any treatment plan.

With today's technology and the availability of specialist referral services, such as those offered by Yorkshire Vets ,we can offer a very high standard of care indeed and this can sometimes be a financial strain.

When your pet is adequately insured then we all know straight away that, with your consent, the staff of Yorkshire Vets can go ahead and arrange the most appropriate treatment.

Not all Insurance Companies offer the same cover. Generally we all get what we pay for.

Some policies provide lifelong cover for any illness; others pay out smaller amounts
just for one year of any particular illness.

It is crucial to be aware of the small print. Feel free to ask our advice on the choice of
policy which suits your pet best.

Pet Insurance policies have limitations and occasionally exclusions.

Although we do the best to advise our clients,we cannot know the individual conditions
of individual insurance policies.

All clients should contact their insurance company at an early stage of treatment in
order to confirm that cover is adequate.
