The Nursing Staff

Alison Mann VN
Alison is our Nursing Manager and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1997. She joined Yorkshire Vets in 2003. Her hobbies include training horses, Indie music and going to the theatre. Clinically she is interested in emergency medicine and critical care, puppy training and mentoring our student veterinary nurses. She has 2 cats (Amira & Tootsie) and 2 horses (Arrogance & Dior).
Jennifer Blake VN
Jennifer is our Head Nurse and Assistant Nursing Manager. She qualifed in 2001 and started working at Yorkshire Vets in 1995.
Her interests are in surgery, mainly orthopaedics.
She has a cat called Liquorice.
Stef Mordey RVN
Stef qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in August 2007 having worked here since January 2003. Her main interests are in intensive care and hydrotherapy. She has 3 cats called Rupert, Mildred & Maggie. She also has a Bedlington Terrier called Alice & a rabbit called Dave.

Caroline Galdas RVN
Caroline qualified in 2009. Started at Yorkshire Vets in August 2005. Her interests include laboratory work, medical nursing and radiography. She owns a cat called Sushi.

Liz Lindley
Liz is a nurse/receptionist and joined the practice in November 2008. She enjoys surgical nursing. She has a cat called Dora.

Linda Earnshaw Nurse/Receptionist
Linda joined the practice in April 2008. She enjoys caring for our inpatients during their hospitalisation. She has 2 dogs called Badger & Biscuit. She also has 3 Guinea Pigs.

Linda Ruddock, Night Nurse
Linda has been with us since 2001, firstly as receptionist at Horsforth, now as one of the night nurse team. She has a Schipperke called Joe
