Stephen is a Scotsman, who spent much of his early life in Australia (as you will have guessed if you've spoken to him!), and qualified as a vet from University of Queensland in 1993. He spent the next year and a half working in Australia, before moving back to the UK, and working in the North East of England.
Stephen moved to Leeds, and joined us at Yorkshire Vets in 1997. His hard work led to a partnership offer, which he took up in 2000, before becoming a company director in more recent years.
Working primarily at Yorkshire Vets Morley, Stephen has recently been heavily involved in relocating the surgery to a larger premises, which not only allows for more appointment availability, but for Stephen and the Morley team to develop the available services at this much loved branch.
Stephen can mostly be found as a GP vet, with his welcoming personality garnering a strong bond with many clients and their pets. He is also very fond of surgery, with the new premises allowing for further opportunities to develop his surgical skills.
At home, Stephen has a vast menagerie of animals, including five cats, two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, two horses and lots of fish.
