I qualified from Ankara University/Türkiye in June 2018. Before I graduated, I had a chance to enrol in an Erasmus programme and studied in Warsaw/Poland for a year. And then, I completed my internship in Hannover/Germany. This is how I have developed a particular interest in small animal surgery and neurology! This interest led me to pursue the PhD programme at the Department of Surgery of Ankara University/Türkiye where I am currently in the final stages of completing my thesis on spinal cord injuries in small animals.
Whilst my favourite aspect of my job is working in the operating theatre, I also enjoy meeting lovely patients and their owners during consultations.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and watersports. Furthermore, I love spending time with my two cats, Luke and Lily, at home.
